Sometimes I love sleeping rough with a ceiling of stars and walls of freedom. But to be honest, I love staying at high end hotels even more. There’s nothing better than escaping to a cozy room with HBO in the middle of a chaotic city. Unfortunately, for someone on the road as much as me, it’s totally unsustainable.
However, I recently came across a hotel booking website that makes mid to high end hotels much more affordable. So affordable that I’m even considering splurging for a night or two.

Why Is Travel Pony So Cheap?
Travel Pony claims to offer hotels at between 10-30% less than similar booking websites. The reason they can do this is because they don’t spend any money on advertising. In other words, they rely on word of mouth and pass the discounts on to us.
After comparing Travel Pony with other hotel booking websites like Agoda and Booking.com, I found that they really do offer good deals. Although there were a few Luxury hotels, such as the Mandarin Oriental in Singapore that weren’t cheaper, most mid-range hotels were significantly cheaper.
