Everybody is a bit different. Some people are chilled out. Some people are wild party animals. Some are a bit of both. Depending on your personality you probably look for a travel destination which can provide you with the entertainment or facilities which you want or need. But if you are the sort of person who likes to experience a little bit of everything, even in small doses, then one rarely embarked but thrilling adventure is to island hop the Balearic Islands – all of which offer something totally different to the next and perfect if you are looking for cheap holidays to Spain!
Soak up the Sun in Menorca
With over 120 beaches and coves, the island of Menorca takes some beating as a beach lover’s paradise. Menorca has some of the best beaches in the whole of the Mediterranean so simply lay down your towel, slap on the sunscreen and let the sun do its work. Menorca has more beaches than Mallorca and Ibiza put together so the choice that awaits you is staggering. Arenal d’en Castell, Cala En Porter and Cala Pregonda are all highly recommended beaches if you are simply overawed by the choices Menorca has to offer.
Party in Ibiza
After all that relaxation in Menorca, you’ll be desperate to get out and let your hair down a bit. Unless you have lived under the stone for the past decade or so, you will already know that Ibiza has the liveliest nightlife in the whole of the Mediterranean, Europe and perhaps even the world. Although some of the more ‘hardcore’ clubbers who seem to spend all year partying may say that it is no longer as much of a draw as it used to be, it still has an aura about it and definitely a must for anyone looking to party long and hard into the night and through to the morning. You’ll find all of the top clubs here – Amnesia, Privilege, Pacha and El Divino amongst others, so put on your glad rags (or jeans and a shirt if you prefer) and head out to mix it with the rest of the young crowd you’ll have no trouble finding.
Have an Action Packed Time in Majorca
By now you’ll be tanned and partied out. So what else is there to do? Well by visiting Majorca you’ll have plenty of activities and attractions to take in during the long hot days. You could, if you enjoy water sports that is, rent a jet ski, sail boat or ride a banana boat all for a reasonable price. If you have had enough of the salt water though, you could hike one of the islands many trails or ride through some of Majorca’s beauty spots on the back of your very own horse! The possibilities are endless on this fun and action packed island – the perfect way to end your Balearic Island adventures!
Whichever island you find your self on, you’ll be pleased to know that car hire Spain is both widely available and very competitively priced making getting around easy.
