About Ryan Newburn | StrawHatBackpacker.com
In his own words: On my 24th birthday, I quit my job, sold all of my possessions, and set out on a walk across the entire world! I used to weigh over 145 kg and lost more than 55kg over the course of 3 years! Having the mentality of knowing that I can achieve anything through hard work, I am now inspiring others to do the same! That is why, starting with Japan, I will be spending the next 5 years walking across the world while sharing in all of my adventures! That way I can inspire others to do the same and fulfill their dreams. IT IS POSSIBLE! Although I’ve only been traveling outside of the United States for one month now, I’ve learned quite a bit in that month about living abroad, roughing it in a tent, and backpacking by yourself. I’ve also become quite knowledgeable with Japanese culture! Check out my blog to follow in my adventure and learn some new things about these wondrous countries that are just over the horizon!
